Also known as Christmas Bush or Sweet Bursaria, this species plays an important part in our biodiversity project as butterflies love the fragrant showy cream flowers. The 0.5-1 cm long spines lend the species name spinosa and provide shelter for small birds as a further biodiversity bonus.
