Thanks to Kensington resident Andrew C who alerted us to this wonderful photo posted on the ‘Adelaide Yesterday and Today’ Facebook page.
Kensington c1905, between Shipsters Road and Regent Street: within the Adelaide and Suburban Tramway Co. tram shed we can see a number of horse-trams and four young conductors (the lower age limit for employment being 12) wearing suits and straw boaters, with two carrying ticket and cash bags and ticketing equipment.
