During Harmony Week 2024 the children at Marryatville Primary School created some lovely colourful banners to celebrate our community diversity and displayed them at the school’s Shipsters Road entrance.
What does ‘harmony’ mean to you? To achieve harmony in music, different notes or instrument sounds are combined to produce a pleasant effect. Likewise harmony in our community is achieved by balancing the many and varied feelings, actions, relationships, opinions and interests residents offer to our community. Achieving balance is hard and people don’t always agree, but it’s important to be kind and patient and communicate respectfully. The students of MPS are showing us the way. Well done, kids!
