This zone of Kensington Road extending from Maesbury Street to Bretwalder Street and into adjoining side roads is a busy and important part of our neighbourhood. The precinct includes residential housing, a church, shopping centre including a major supermarket, Marryatville High School, petrol stations, a hotel, a theatre, cafes and other small businesses, and a very busy major arterial road which people need to be able to cross safely.
The proposed Masterplan aims to improve safety, amenities, and retail opportunities for local residents based on community feedback/ community needs, current and projected demographics and emerging trends.
